Classical Education Symposium 2026 Speaker Proposal Form

National Symposium for Classical Education, 2026
Classical Education and the American Experiment

Are you interested in submitting your own proposal to speak at Symposium 2026 when our annual theme will be “Classical Education and the American Experiment.”

The 2026 National Symposium for Classical Education will examine how classical learning across the curriculum, from science and math to the arts and Humane Letters, shapes the American experiment in republican government and prepares citizens and leaders for the future. Proposals from all academic disciplines are welcome.

In 2026, the United States will mark the Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. In his final statement on the Declaration, Thomas Jefferson wrote that its purpose was “not to find out new principles… but to place before mankind the common sense of the subject… It was intended to be an expression of the American Mind.”

The 2026 National Symposium for Classical Education will examine how classical learning shapes the American experiment in republican government and prepares citizens and leaders for the future.
