Leah Murray is the Brady Presidential Distinguished Professor in the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Weber State University, a recipient of the Barbara Burch Award for Faculty Leadership in Civic Engagement, and was recognized as the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Endowed Professor for 2017 – 2020. She currently serves as the Director of the Olene S. Walker Institute of Politics & Public Service, for which she leads Weber State Votes, the campus’ student voter engagement effort, which has earned numerous recognitions. Murray holds a BA from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. from the University at Albany and is the author or co-author of 2 books, 12 journal articles and book chapters.
